Bangs for Soft and Flamboyant Naturals

  Natural types are kind of known for having the most relaxed look when it comes to clothes and hair. Tousled, loose hair are common recommendations for naturals.   Naturals are know to be able to pull off the purposefully messy look quite easily. What's not so easy for the natural is bangs. Some types are just prone to bang better than others. The gamines for example tend to look great in bangs and many different types a well. From the baby bang to the full bang look.    So, what's a bang obsessed natural to do? The most important tip I could give about bangs for a natural is don't get bangs. Seriously, it's just too few and far between that a natural looks better with bangs than with out. But if you must bang yourself, please consider these guidelines.  1. Stuck between a Gamine and Classic type?

So I've been experimenting with a new method of finding your Kibbe Image I.D. What I've been looking at is, is it helpful to first identify your, what I call "core type" first before finding your actual type. What I mean by core type is what type you are most like.  To do this, I ask you to forget there are 13 different types. This can be daunting and you often end up getting lost between two (or three) very different body types. Instead, try to think of the Kibbe system as just 5 different types (gamine, romantic, classic, natural, dramatic), with subtypes (soft gamine, dramatic classic, flamboyant natural etc). This thought came about when re-reading Kibbe's book, it seems to me his original thought process was that people are mostly these core types, with some added yin or yang. So a theatrical romantic is primarily romantic with some added yang (dramatic traits). A soft classic is mostly classic with just some added yin (romantic traits). Notice I say "...
